Collection of illuminated manuscript leaves, circa 1100-1599.

This collection of individual leaves taken from illuminated manuscripts represents works created from the 12th through 15th centuries. The bulk of the collection consists of leaves from various Books of Hours (books with prayers for private devotions) written in Latin or Dutch. Also included are single leaves from Bibles, a Dutch religious calendar, a French epistolary, and a book of homilies by St. Augustine.
